The GOP of New Mexico organized recall petitions all over the state to attack six existing laws that protect reproductive choice, school-based healthcare, gender identity-based rights, and voting rights in New Mexico. While those petitions have already been ruled moot, the organizers continue to gather signatures.
If you’re a New Mexico Democrat who wants to stand up for our rights, we’d like to know if you can join us for a counter-protest against this outrageous onslaught against the legal gains that Democrats have made in the recent legislative session.
We’ll meet Sunday, June 11th at Luna and Main St in Los Lunas from 11am-1pm. Be sure to dress for the weather and use sunscreen!
