He has vigorously opposed Niagara Bottling’s efforts to increase the amount of water they’re allowed by the Village of Los Lunas to process from an aquifer that supports much of Valencia County. Mayor Olguin explains why the interests of neighboring communities like Peralta, Bosque Farms, and Isleta need to be considered in crafting an approach to water policy that protects the entire community.
