It’s Back to School Time!
The Valencia County Federation of Democratic Women will be participating at the Belen National Night Out, August 1, 2023, 6:00 pm, at Anna Becker Park.
https://natw.org/ This has become an annual community event for us and we hope you will volunteer and participate. Here’s how you can help.
1. Donate school supplies from our list below.
2. Volunteer to put the goodie bags together on July 30th from 1 pm to finish.
3. Register Voters at the event.
Volunteer to set up, take down, work the event. You can drop off donations up until July 28 at the following:

Los Lunas, NM – 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
In Belen, Los Chavez, please call Lorraine at 505-440-6335. I’ll pick up or meet you.
In Rio Communities, Tome, Bosque Farms, call Pam at 505-514-7492 for pick up or meet up.

- Backpacks
- Color pencils package of 10 to 12
- Crayons package of 24
- Markers package of 10 to 12
- #2 pencils
- Blue or black pensComposition notebooks
- Folders with pockets
- Spiral notebooks
- Kleenex boxes
- Loose leaf paper
- Clorox wipes
- Paper grocery bags (to put the supplies in when there’s no backpack)
