August’s General Meeting will be held at Los Lunas Fire Station #2 on Tuesday August 15th. This month we are lucky to be joined by Rep. Pamelya Herndon. She will be discussing the recent HB 9 bill a safe firearm storage act intended to keep firearms out of the hands of youth. She will also take questions on this important legislation that she championed.

We also will have Augustine Montoya who will join us as a representative of the Fuerzas Unidas Caucus. Their Mission is “Working Together to Empower Hispanos Across New Mexico”. Augustine will tell us more about the Caucus, what it does for New Mexicans, and how you can get involved.

We will also hear from candidates running in the upcoming municipal elections! It’s a full slate and one that you won’t want to miss!
